Erkan Cetin is a Turkish-born graphic designer and photographer living in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 19, Erkan worked with a small photo studio for a year to learn about photo editing, and later, focused his learnings on western art and history. His own curiosity to live in different environments and surroundings urged him out of his shell — from a small, dusty and desolate town in Turkey, to the American “dream.”

His arrival in the United States left him full of questions regarding his new life and especially the new language he would have to learn. In pursuit of his dream and passion, Erkan earned a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art & Design, studying photography and later graphic design. Erkan currently works as a graphic designer at Coca-Cola’s in-house creative agency, KO:OP. Over the years, his role has evolved, and he now takes part in conceptual projects and photography. When he is not spending time with family and friends, he continues to pursue his passion for photography.
